I wanted to take a second and mention the companies that support our workshops. When I was looking for sponsors for the Arenal Eco Adventure photo workshop in Costa Rica, it was important to me to work with people and products that I am proud to recommend and represent.

Outdoor Photo Gear has been a supporter of ours since the beginning. Chris Klapheke and his crew provide excellent customer service and lots of gear for shooting in the wild. They carry a wide selection of camera accessories and outdoor gear, and they offer free shipping in the US. Whether you’re shooting wildlife, macro or landscapes, OPG has the gear you need. Chris is a heck of a bird photographer too!
OPG provides lens-care gifts for our participants and a gift certificate for the winner of the TTL Challenge.

Lew Bedell was the most enthusiastic vendor that I met at Photoshop world in Orlando, FL in March. His company, Artistic Photo Canvas, had done a lot of printing for my buddies Jeremy Pollack and Alan Hess, and they had nothing but good things to say about their experiences. When I ordered my first canvas print from APC I was blown away by their customer service. Two different representatives called me when they were processing my print job to make sure that my gallery wrap print came out exactly like I wanted. My print arrived and it was absolutely perfect!
Lew is giving each of our participants a 9″x12″ canvas print from APC, and the TTL Challenge winner gets a 30″x40″ print!

I’m also pleased to have Hunt’s Photo and Video as a sponsor. I met Gary Farber at Photoshop World and he made it clear that Hunt’s knows how to treat their customers. Hunt’s has several stores in New England and an extensive website. They work with camera clubs and organizations across the US to provide support for the photography community.
Hunt’s is providing us with door prizes and gift certificates for the TTL Challenge.

Be sure to visit these companies and keep them in mind for your next photo gear or printing purchase. They all provide great products, but, more importantly, they are great folks to work with.
