Shot list : 1. Harborside Fountain Park
2. Various fountains in the Harborside District (around the ferry terminal).
Favorite spot for sunset: Harborside Fountain Park is really interesting around dusk. All of the fountains are lit so night shooting and long exposures are possible.
The Harborside District is a nice area bust still need to remain vigilant as you are carrying your gear around.
Where to Eat: Lots of good places to eat right round the fountain park
Where to Stay: Hotel within walking distance
Equipment Suggestions: If shooting in the day, I think a grad. ND filter would benefit you greatly. At night, I would bring the standard tripod and cable release.
Notes: Find unique perspectives on the fountains as well as the water. Get low and high. Look at pictures on Flickr. Try to make an image that is unlike any you have seen.
Also a fun place to fool around with HDR.
